The PROTEON™ SL LED luminaire offers commercial building owners, retailers and institutions an innovative, continuous-row solution that better utilizes light to emphasize areas of focus while reducing energy. Using custom optics, the luminaire can provide unparalled uniformity and achieve a horizontal-to-vertical light ratio not attainable through previous technologies. Occupancy and photocell sensing, along with an emergency back-up accessory, are seamlessly integrated using engineered modules to provide maximum controls flexibility in a non-obtrusive form factor.

Construction

Extruded housing and heat sink made from 6063-T5 aluminum allows for superior thermal management to reduce both LED and driver temperatures. Clear anodized finish is standard to resist scratching, corrosion and provide refined appearance. The joiners and modules are made from die-cast, zinc alloy which reduces electro-magnetic interference (EMI) and offers improved thermals over alternative materials. Joiners and modules are painted with baked enamel; five-stage iron phosphate pre-treatment ensures superior adhesion.
