What You'll Do In This Role:

  • Prepare comprehensive bills of material and pricing for specified projects and crossover opportunities using internal software and manufacturer pricing tools. 
  • Review and interpret project specifications to ensure lighting and control systems comply with design intent. 
  • Collaborate with contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and BLS sales teams to generate complete and competitive bid packages tailored to customer needs. 
  • Organize and manage supporting bid documentation and correspondence. 
  • Proactively follow up on bids to help drive orders and secure business. 
  • Participate in ongoing product training and attend industry events as needed. 

What You'll Bring to the Team: 

  • Stong knowledge of electrical systems and lighting controls systems.
  • Previous experience in lighting, electrical distribution, construction, or a related industry preferred. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and customer-specific requests. 
  • Proficiency in understanding LED lighting, product lines, pricing structures, and sales terms.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.
