What You'll Do In This Role:
- Prepare comprehensive bills of material and pricing for specified projects and crossover opportunities using internal software and manufacturer pricing tools.
- Review and interpret project specifications to ensure lighting and control systems comply with design intent.
- Collaborate with contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and BLS sales teams to generate complete and competitive bid packages tailored to customer needs.
- Organize and manage supporting bid documentation and correspondence.
- Proactively follow up on bids to help drive orders and secure business.
- Participate in ongoing product training and attend industry events as needed.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Stong knowledge of electrical systems and lighting controls systems.
- Previous experience in lighting, electrical distribution, construction, or a related industry preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and customer-specific requests.
- Proficiency in understanding LED lighting, product lines, pricing structures, and sales terms.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.
